Classes at the WARF Fall 2018

Piedmont Etiquette School and the WARF (Warrenton Aquatic and Recreational Facility) want to be a part of your leadership team. We encourage, inspire, mentor, and teach your young person the self-confidence needed to become a contributing member of the community.

Tuition for all classes is $150

Social I: 3rd – 5th Grades and 6th – 8th Grades

During our five week, Social I, program your child will learn:

  • The 7 Ingredients of a Great Introduction
  • Self-Esteem and Confidence Building
  • First Impressions
  • Eye Contact
  • Meeting and Greeting
  • Handshakes
  • Confident Leadership Voice
  • Table Manners
  • Setting the Table
  • American-Style Dining

Classes will be held on the following Sundays at the WARF. October 7, October 21, November 4, November 25 and December 16.

3rd to 5th grade class time- 2:00-3:00
6th-8th grade class time- 3:15-4:15

 

High School Leadership

The High School Leadership classes are designed for students who want to gain the leadership edge and emphasize the necessities of the first impression in interviewing for college entrance and the first job. Classes are interactive with role playing exercises geared towards fun and practice.

Topics include:

  • Job Interview Etiquette
  • Dining Etiquette
  • Telephone Etiquette
  • The Etiquette of Public Places
  • On The Job Success
  • Proper introductions
  • The art of toasting
  • Correct handshakes with eye contact
  • Telephone skills
  • Common courtesies

Classes will be held on the following Sundays at the WARF (Warrenton Aquatic and Recreational Facility). October 7, October 21, November 4, November 25 and December 16

This class is appropriate for grades 9-12
Class time 4:30-5:45
